paris, 1954. henri-françois rey wrote the thema of the piece la bande à bonnot and asked boris vian to write the songs in order it to become a musical comedy. la bande a bonnot was the name of a french illegal anarchist group. as soon as the piece was played at théâtre du quartier latin, french authorities made it being stopped. musical parts have been lost. 1971, jacques canetti has been told the original handwritten lyrics of the boris vian songs have been found again. jacques canetti asked louis bessières to re create music parts. 1975, jacques canetti released this record with songs being performed by judith magre, yves robert, lucienne vernay, pierre jamet, kim ibarra, maurice barrier & cécile vassort + 2 bonus tracks whose lyrics were suppsoed to be too for the original spectacle.

matuss returns to her absence seizure imprint february 2017 with ‘seizure no.6, comprising four original compositions from the new york based artist. since launching the absence seizure imprint in 2015 alongside producer friend abe duque, new yorks matuss has carved out an impressive back-catalogue with this new release marking its sixth and previous material garnering the attention of acts like derek plaslaiko, beaner, dj deep, twr72 and norman methner. once again julia matuss, better known as simply matuss, is at the controls to deliver four original compositions, the first of which la folie sees her deliver a haunting slice of tension building techno via throbbing bass, organic percussion hits and subtly evolving distorted rhythms. muirr follows and takes a more reserved strip back approach with swirling bass tones and sparse drums gradually building towards a frenzied fusion of psychedelic synth swells, vocal stabs and acidic hits. opening the flip side of the record is i hate valentines day, a murky five-minute number employing mind-bending low end drones, dynamic off-kilter percussion and sweeping atmospherics before acid slay closes, and as the name would suggest lays focus on tripped-out acid licks alongside chugging bass and minimalistic drums.

it was such a hot day in may 2014, we all remember, moscoman drop by his home town of tel aviv to do a party with krikor aka crackboy as his guest, they had a few hours to kill just before the gig, mosco rang up his old compadres and brothers in arms red axes, to see what they were up to, they were just hanging at the studio, “we’re coming” he said, and the rest is history, thanks to the taxi driver abed that was waiting downstairs to take them to the gig, they had vocals to finish this track and mosco had the chance to play this track that night already. powered by a uncompromising mix from no doubt one of the best producers of electronic music, roman flügel, and another killer by red axes, not a lot is left to do but wait for this monster record to drop.

east wall was an italian electronic dark wave band started by fabrizio chiari (ex keyboardist of kirlian camera) and wilma notari in 1982. “silence” was self released by the band in 1991.
we decided to expand the album, releasing it as a deluxe double lp cut louder at 45 rpm. we have also included an unreleased extended version of “ice of fire” and the bonus track “intro”, found on the dat tapes fabrizio chiari sent us. all songs are remastered for vinyl by george horn at fantasy studios in berkeley. it is housed in the original jacket, featuring a dramatically lit photograph of the band by andrea gambetta. each copy includes an 11x11 double-sided insert with photos of the band, lyrics, and liner notes by intergalactic gary, who’s despair mix turned us onto to this album all songs are remastered for vinyl by george horn at fantasy studios in berkeley. housed in the original jacket featuring a photo of a boy by pushe 27. each copy includes a 2-sided postcard with photos of the band, lyrics, and liner notes by flemming dalum.
